What temperature should my hot tub be?

The temperature of your hot tub water will depend on a number of factors, including your age, health, personal preference, and climate. As a general rule of thumb, we suggest that most hot tub owners maintain a temperature of 98-102°F within their hot tub. Please keep in mind that this temperature may differ based on your climate, health or age. For older children, the temperature should be kept between 94-98°F with soaks ranging from 5-15 minutes at a time, keeping in mind that both infants and toddlers should never go in the hot tub. Please speak with your healthcare provider for more information.
